Historical and Interesting Places

This entry will be about the historical and interesting places in Malaysia. There are a lot of interesting places in Malaysia. The interesting place in Malaysia symbolize Malaysia as Asia destination. Even though Malaysia is made of different races and ethnics, but people in Malaysia still can unite together and together develop Malaysia to become one of progressive country. Malaysia is well-known of it beautiful places to be visited. As Malaysian, we should know about our own country, so we can guide tourists or foreigners where ever we are.
First, let we start about Malacca, the state where everyone must visit. Malacca is one of Malaysia's state that is rich with important history. It is preserved until now. A'Famosa is the landmark of Malacca. It was built by the Portuguese in 1511. It is said once a fortification during the conquest. However, this fortification is still solid even thought was attacked over and over again. A'Famosa is a place that must one make a visit whenever they come to Malacca. Maritime Museum is a replica of a ship which Portuguese. The ship is known as Flor De La Mar. It was used as a warship which leads navies to attack Malacca. It is also used by the Alfonso De Albuquerque to make round trip to Goa India. However during the sail, it is believed that it hits an obstacle and sank in Malacca Ocean.

Malacca is not only a historical place but there are also interesting place to visit. People who loves to collect antiques, one can make a visit to Baba and Nyonya street. Baba and Nyonya is once a Chinese committee but they practice the Malay culture in their daily routine including in their cooking and lifestyle. Taming Sari tower is located near Dataran Pahlawan. It was built in 2008 and was built just like keris Taming Sari which is belong to the Malay warrior, Hang Tuah. It is about 110 meter tall and people can watch a landscape view from the top of the tower.

Langkawi Island is also one of a beautiful place. Langkawi Island is now recognized as World's Destination of Tourism. Langkawi Island is located in Kedah, North of Malaysia. It is also considered the heaven of tropical where the blooming equator plant and the preserved habitat live. Dayang Bunting Lake is one of the famous place in Langkawi. Its beauty of nature attracts people to go there. It takes about 35 minutes to go there by boat. Along the way, one can enjoy the pleasant of nature. At the lake, the visitors can have fish spa, canoeing and also swimming.

There are a lot of attractions in Sabah and Sarawak which is the Borneo side of our country. It is filled with variations of culture and ethnics. The authenticity of their glorious culture has catch the world attention.
One of the attraction in Sabah itself is, Mount Kinabalu. The view from the peak of this mountain, has is definitely breath taking. Next we have, the remarkable coral life of the Sabah bays like Semporna Island, Pulau Manukan, and Pulau Sipadan. The beaches, are one of the most beautiful beaches in the entire world

Next in the neighboring state, Sarawak we can observe the natural habitat of the famous hornbill. Besides that, we can indulge ourselves into the beauty of Gua Niah and not forgetting learning about the legendary tale of Puteri Santubong and Puteri Senjinjang.
